Ilene Rapkin is an established expert in the media and marketing industry. For more than two decades she has been recognized as a revenue-driving, brand-building and results-oriented corporate executive and strategic consultant. Prior to founding I Openers, Ilene held senior marketing and management positions at top brands and media companies, including Senior Vice President of Integrated Sales and Marketing (PRISM) at Primedia, Publisher of Modern Bride, Associate Publisher of Bon Appétit, and Associate Publisher of Food & Wine. She is a lifelong New Yorker who lives there with her husband.


Cheryl Sternberg, Strategic Insights Practice Leader
Cheryl is an enthusiastic and passionate interpreter who bridges the worlds of research and marketing, delivering results that are meaningful, relevant, and actionable. As Director of Strategic Insights at The Parenting Group from 2002 – 2010, she spearheaded the launch of MomConnection®, a general -population online research community, and managed its operations for business and editorial initiatives, clients and agencies. Trained in media at Ted Bates and Grey, Cheryl has experience on the client side at Seagram, and the media side at Food & Wine, Martha Stewart and Condé Nast.
